John is a versatile communicator and has had 25 years’ experience of working with some of the biggest names in the UK.

He set up Social Communications in 2013 and has been instrumental in driving its growth to become one of the leading full-service communications agencies in the property, infrastructure and development sectors.

A Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses programme, John is completely focused on running a successful business that has good governance and operational procedures in place and that has a positive impact on society.

He was instrumental in working with Number 10 during the millennium celebrations and has managed the media for a range of organisations including major retailers; private developers and housing associations, as well as the Royal Family and high profile celebrities.

John gets on with people and is an expert at capturing hearts and minds, from the pub to Parliament. His work in reinventing consultation to help developers achieve planning consents has won awards.

He is as comfortable presenting to a board of directors; briefing the national press or discussing policy or planning applications with politicians as he is working with local people at grass roots level.

John has worked on numerous contentious planning applications, including mobile phone masts, major housing schemes, supermarkets and wind farms and he has an excellent understanding of the planning process as well as how to identify and work with supporters.
