A leading UK full service law firm, Stephensons services individuals, businesses and government organisations with seven offices across the country and 450 staff.

Social, a £2 million turnover integrated agency, is headquartered in Manchester with offices in Leeds and Bristol.

Its Manchester PR team will be working with Stephensons to execute national campaigns highlighting legal experts from all sectors of the business alongside wider media relations activity.

Social’s first brief focussed on Stephensons’ family law division with data commissioned revealing the impact mobile phone technology is having on the nation’s love life. The campaign achieved widespread national coverage, including the Mail Online.

This was swiftly followed by comment on David Beckham’s recent driving ban and changes to the law on motorists who leave their vehicle engines idling while stationary.

Sarah Boustouller, Head of Marketing and Partner for Stephensons, said: “Public Relations is a crucial part of our communications strategy, Social Communications has a successful track record of gaining stand out coverage, coupled with a strong digital knowledge. These factors were important to us and we look forward to working with the team.”

Diana MacCarthy, Director of Social Communications’ Manchester office, said: “Positioning Stephensons’ legal figureheads at the heart of lively media content and at the fore of commentary and thought leadership is a brief we’re thrilled to hold.”

Ranked #11 in Prolific North’s top 50 PR agencies 2018, and with 35 staff – Social’s national client roster spans property, planning and professional services, energy, education, rail and major infrastructure.
