Caty Cartwright

As a founding director of Social Communications, Caty is a highly experienced public relations practitioner and now leads a new division within the Group, called Social Response – our service to provide effective end-to-end engagement with media and customers.

Caty is a former journalist and principal press officer.  She has dealt with hundreds of media enquiries and managed issues and crisis communications for a wide range of clients, as well as during her time at one of the UK’s largest councils, and is well versed in dealing with the media.

Caty has particular expertise in the housing, property and construction sectors as well as public sector communications, having previously worked with Urban Splash, Ask Developments and BMW.

At Social Communications she provides strategic guidance particularly in response to reactive media enquiries, issues management and crisis communications, as well as delivering training and workshop sessions.
